WWE had a lot of things in the pipeline, and then COVID-19 cause a pause for those plans. The company was in the middle of bringing in new Superstars to NXT, but that process was halted as well. Now a big free agent is making waves and churning the rumor mill.

Tessa Blanchard’s Impact Wrestling release reportedly brought immediate attention from WWE. They want her and it is said they already sent out feelers. The issue remains that Blanchard is in Mexico and will not leave due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She doesn’t want to leave Daga and fears she won’t be able to return before their wedding.

Ryan Satin isn’t too certain that WWE is going to jump right on Blanchard. There are a lot of factors in play, and he also believes the previous allegations of backstage bullying will play against her.

I’d be very surprised if WWE brought her in anytime soon, as there are other wrestlers who had their signings paused due to the pandemic that don’t have allegations of bullying/racial slurs following them.

Doubt this is a priority to them at the moment with everything going on.

WWE could always use someone like Tessa Blanchard. She is incredibly talented and only 24 years old. It might not be the best time to bring in new Superstars, but we’ll have to see if WWE can resist the temptation to sign Blanchard once again.
