Impact Wrestling’s 2020 Slammiversary event will likely see a change or two as they get closer to the July 18th date. Tessa Blanchard’s firing could certainly cause them to reconsider some booking decisions.

The company revealed that they are also setting up a new contender for the Knockouts Title. There will now be a 10-woman gauntlet match at Slammiversary to determine a new number one contender for championship currently held by Jordynne Grace.

There are a few women in that match who could pull down the win. Success in a gauntlet match also greatly depends on the placement a star receives. It will certainly be an an interesting addition to the Slammiversary show.
