The debate about wearing mask during the pandemic still wages on. America has seen a huge spike in novel coronavirus cases and it’s only getting worse. Matt Hardy shared a very blunt message for fans highly suggesting that they wear their masks.

Hardy was very clear about things. Wearing a mask doesn’t make you weak. It means you care about other people. He has a wife, children, and an elderly father in poor health. He said if COVID-19 strikes his father it would be a “death sentence.”

He didn’t mix words as he was very clear when saying that American needs to get its sh*t together.

“Wearing a mask doesn’t just protect you, it protects other people too. We have to be accountable. We have to be responsible. We have to do our individual parts in the greater good to help slow down this pandemic. That is the point.”

“Wearing a mask is just the right thing to do. It’s being responsible. It’s giving a sh*t about other people out there. If you think wearing a mask makes you weak, or afraid — it doesn’t. Wearing a mask makes you unselfish. It makes you intelligent. So America, get your sh*t together! Wear a mask! Utilize social distancing. Use common sense.”

He said you don’t have to wear a mask at all times. There are occasions when wearing a mask is not only safe, but it is socially responsible. If you ask Matt Hardy it also shows that you’re intelligent, and you give a sh*t too.

We’ll have to see how this situation ends up. The second wave of COVID-19 seems to be coming sooner than expected as people squabble about protective face masks.
