Jon Moxley’s wife Renee Young tested positive for COVID-19. Moxley is currently the AEW World Champion and set for a title defense against Brian Cage at Fyter Fest. This could pose a problem.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW’s doctors told Moxley to isolate himself from his wife. They are staying at separate ends of their Las Vegas home.

Moxley’s Fyter Fest match isn’t scheduled to film until July 2nd. It will air during the second night of Fyter Fest on July 8th.

It was noted that Jon Moxley will be taking “multiple tests this week and everything will play itself out.” If he tests positive for coronavirus then the match will be called off.

It was also noted that they could do an empty arena setting “as late as July 8th” to make the air date happen in time. That could be a tricky situation, but it’s another available option.
