WWE discovered several positive coronavirus tests in the company, and they will continue testing prior to each television taping from now on. Don’t expect to see masks in the crowd.

The friends and family aren’t coming back so soon. They were told that they weren’t allowed to wear masks in the crowd during the last set of tapings. It appears that trend is going to continue.

Orange County has an order in place where masks must be worn. Florida has an astronomical amount of positive coronavirus test results. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that WWE is going to use a loophole in that mandate from officials.

“WWE told me that the rule where everyone who leaves their house unless they’re exercising has to wear masks — they believe as of yesterday for Friday’s tapings — they believe that it does not apply to them because they operate in a private facility. That’s what I was told.”

WWE’s Performance Center might reside in a county that is requiring everyone to wear masks because of a coronavirus outbreak, but the company found a loophole. That being said, it wouldn’t be a good idea to expect to see masks in the crowd during WWE programming any times soon.
