WWE discovered multiple positive coronavirus test results in the company. This stretched through the Superstar roster, staff, and production. Now the company will be testing for COVID-19 before every taping.
Vince McMahon’s company released an official statement regarding the recent positive COVID-19 test results. Their response was short, but to the point.
“WWE will continue COVID-19 testing of its talent, production crew and employees in advance of TV productions for the foreseeable future.”
WWE is still planning to tape Raw and SmackDown on Friday and Saturday. It was previously reported that at least one Superstar who was slated to be on television came back with a positive COVID-19 test.
It remains to be seen exactly how many positive test results were discovered. One report stated it could be couple dozen.
