The #SpeakingOut movement is doing a lot of good in the pro wrestling world. There are also some who fear that there are people using this great cause for the wrong reasons.

LuFisto recently tweeted out to beg anyone coming forward to do so with the right reasons in mind. This is not a time for personal vendettas or seeking revenge against someone you don’t like. This is a time to create a safe space in pro wrestling for everyone.

Please, from the bottom of my heart, I’m asking you. Do not use #SpeakingOut as a personal vendetta against people you have heat with or to get back at someone you don’t like. This movement is too important and serious for the victims. Thank you.

LuFisto wasn’t the only person to speak about this same subject. Barbi Hayden also expressed her hopes that anyone who submits their testimony in the #SpeakingOut movement will leave personal agendas out of it.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
