Elias Might Not Be Back Until WrestleMania 37

We’d reported earlier that Elias is going to be out for long time due to his injury. The Drifter suffered a torn pectoral and was written off from TV with an automobile accident segment on SmackDown a few weeks ago.

Sean Sapp revealed on Backstage Report Podcast on Fightful Select that Elias might not come back until WrestleMania 37 next year.

“Elias got ran over by that car in a segment a couple of weeks ago, but he’s got a torn pectoral and may not be back till WrestleMania 37. Heal up soon.”

WrestleMania 37 will happen in March 2021 and that’s a long, long time from now. The event is scheduled to take place in the SoFi Stadium, California.

Serious injuries with prolonged recovery periods can prove to be devastating for a Superstar’s physical and mental health. Nobody would want to sit out these many months of action on the bench.

We hope that Elias recovers from his injury splendidly and returns to the ring at the soonest.
