The Undertaker’s legendary career is seemingly over. This was stated during the final episode of his Last Ride docuseries on the WWE Network which debuted today.

During the episode, The Undertaker says he’s at peace with not wrestling again. This is something he wasn’t able to do despite teasing retirement a few times throughout the years. His WrestleMania match against AJ Styles was also covered in detail.

Following The Undertaker’s appearance on the Broken Skull Sessions, AJ Styles called The Undertaker about having a match. This was sparked by Taker stating on the Broken Skull Sessions that he wants to retire on his own terms.

WWE had much different plans for AJ Styles vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36. The pandemic obviously changed things for them as they had to construct a very unique cinematic Boneyard Match. The Undertaker’s brother Timothy died during that time after a heart attack as well.

Following the Boneyard Match, the Undertaker stated he believes that was the perfect way to end his career. He said “time will only tell” because Vince McMahon can always call him back. He is under WWE contract for the next 15 years.

The Undertaker stated that “I’m at a point that this time the cowboy really rides away.” After saying that he has nothing left to accomplish, he seemed content with what he has done and spending his future at home.

We’ll have to see if The Undertaker’s retirement sticks, but they certainly closed the Last Ride docuseries by giving off the impression that he has accepted the end of his career.
