WWE Superstar Jaxson Ryker caused a storm of controversy when he tweeted out his support for Donald Trump. This was during a time when the WWE Hall Of Famer President was ordering armed forces to break up peaceful Black Lives Matter protests. This did not sit well in the WWE locker room and the heat against him was real.

Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake were both pulled from television along with Ryker despite their public statements against what their partner said. There were some in the company who felt their gimmick was a bad idea to begin with.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there were those in WWE who felt that this was the wrong time to run with characters like those given the current political climate.

There are those who felt the gimmick itself wasn’t the right thing in these turbulent times

The Forgotten Sons were removed entirely from television. They were not on SmackDown this week. The company is taping the next episode of SmackDown on June 26th. We will have to see when they return.

There is always the possibility that Cutler and Blake can show up as a duo. It remains to be seen how WWE will use them now.
