Welcome to Ringside News’ live results coverage of WWE Backlash 2020.
The much-touted ‘Greatest Wrestling Match of All-Time’ will take place tonight between Edge and Randy Orton. Ridicoulous as the moniker may be, for any match with any competitors, this should be an awesome affair between two of the all-time greats.
The WWE Championship will be contested tonight between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. Since teaming with MVP, Lashley has seen his star skyrocket and he clashes with McIntyre tonight. Can McIntyre retain? Or will Lashley shock the world and make the Champ pass out?
Of course, the Universal Championship will also be contested in a handicap match, with Braun Strowman defending against The Miz and John Morrison, Apollo Crews Vs. Andrade for the United States Championship, Asuka Vs. Nia Jax for the RAW Women’s Championship, and all three Tag Team Championships will be defended.
It’s a fairly stacked card for Backlash 2020 that kicks-off at 6 PM EST. We’ll have all the live play-by-play coverage right here, so stay tuned and enjoy the show!
The Backlash 2020 Kick-Off Show is hosted by Scott Stanford and Peter Rosenberg. The duo run down tonight’s Backlash card.

He says Orton will retain his title as the greatest in-ring performer in WWE history. Christian says Edge didn’t take nine years off, he was working to stay in shape and get back. It’s passion and grit vs. natural ability.
We see Miz and Morrison’s new music video for ‘Hey, Hey, Hey’.
