AEW is looking for the best talent they can find. This might include a former Champion from the NWA.

A rumor is circulating that All Elite Wrestling could be interested in bringing in former NWA Television Champion Ricky Starks. The timing for Starks’ NWA exit is especially interesting in this situation.

Known for his fantastic promo work along with in-ring ability, Starks was a standout in the NWA. He officially left the National Wrestling Alliance a few weeks ago.

Starks is now proclaiming himself as a hot free agent in the pro wrestling world. We’ll have to see if AEW eventually gives him a call.

Even if AEW doesn’t ink deal with Ricky Starks it is always possible for him to drop in for an AEW TNT Title match.

Tony Khan received massive amount of praise because of how he led AEW through the coronavirus pandemic so far. We’ll have to see if the change in AEW’s live event plans means that money dedicated to signing new stars is frozen.

If All Elite Wrestling can sign Ricky Starks to a contract it might do them a lot of good.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
