WWE needed to shake things up in a big way and the RAW brand saw a huge creative change.

Paul Heyman is out and now Bruce Prichard is overseeing both main roster brands. There is a reason for this change, and it might not all be ratings related.

Wrestle Votes reports that RAW has been a mess backstage recently. Things are changing right up until the show starts as well. It’s not all Heyman’s fault, but something needed to change.

Regarding the creative change, source indicates that RAW has been a mess lately. At times recently the show has changed up to the point of air. While the blame isn’t solely on Heyman, he is the one taking the fall here. “It couldn’t continue like this” was an exact quote I got.

It will be interesting to see what WWE does from this point on. There are reports that Vince McMahon is also considering more main roster talent for NXT to boost their ratings as well.

We will keep an eye on this on-going situation right here at Ringside News.
