JBL ‘Knew’ Bobby Lashley Was Going To Be A Star

While John Bradshaw Layfield may not have been everyone’s cup of tea, especially when he held the WWE Championship, he was certainly one of the most effective heels of his generation.

He went up against some of the very best in the business, and while he may not have always come out on top, he knew how to make them look good.

Case in point: his feud with Bobby Lashley back in the day.

Lashley is on the rise in WWE during his second tenure with the company, and while it may seem unlikely, he is in with a chance of shocking the world at Backlash as he challenges Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.

Regardless of whether or not he leaves with the belt, it’s going to be one hell of a match at the Performance Center.
