Matt Riddle looks to be on his way to the main roster. The former NXT Tag Team Champion has a big match set for Wednesday, but we’ll have to see if his cage match against Timothy Thatcher is going to be a send-off.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Matt Riddle worked yesterday during WWE’s television tapings. He was not included in last night’s episode of RAW. The assumption is that he will make his main roster debut for the blue brand this week.

“There’s a good chance that Matt Riddle will be on SmackDown on Friday because Matt Riddle was performing today and they taped SmackDown today for Friday.”

It was noted that WWE can air Riddle’s debut whenever they want. They could hold off airing his debut until next week, but he was a part of the tapings yesterday and did work. This means the King Of Bros is likely to wrestle during his main roster debut.
