WWE released a lot of Superstars on April 15th. They also axed a ton of backstage staff and office workers eliminating around 40% of the company’s staff in the process. Rusev was part of those cuts, but he had a great time on Saturday night watching AEW Double Or Nothing.
When he was asked about Double Or Nothing, Miro liked the show. He watches AEW when he works out, but he had to ask his “lawyer” if it is okay for him to say that. We can only imagine that he was talking to Lana in that instance.
“Last night was fun. I work out every now and again and I set my TV, my phone or whatever and I watched a little bit of AEW. I don’t know if it’s legal to say. Is it legal to say? I’m looking at my lawyer, is it legal to say? … It was fun, man. It was fun watching, especially that main event. Did you all see that show, by the way?”
Rusev said Double Or Nothing was good and he had fun watching it. His non-compete clause runs up in mid-July. We’ll have to see if perhaps Miro can get a closer look at All Elite Wrestling eventually.
