Tinashe Accused Of Jacking Song — Sued For ALL PROFITS

Tinashe has been accused of copyright infringement by an Australian record producer. Collaborator MAKJ was brought into this mess too.

Australian producer William Kissas is accusing Tinashe and MAKJ of copyright infringement for her 2019 track “Save Room For Us” off the album Songs For You.

Will K claims that is was in contact with MAKJ in February 2019. He sent over some material to a dropbox and then the song showed up on another track that isn’t his.

He is requesting an injunction that would prohibit Tinashe from distributing this track that he claims she jacked. He’s also seeking unspecified damages, all profits made by the defendants, and attorney fees.
