AEW hasn’t been able to present a Dynamite with live fans since the COVID-19 pandemic started sweeping the United States in March. People are itching to re-open, but it must be done slowly and it’s also not Cody’s call as to how quickly they will allow fans once again.

During a recent media call, Rhodes stated that AEW’s plans are to stay in Jacksonville. They have Daily’s Place and are able to run shows there. Moving around too much would open them up to risks.

He also noted that the ultimate decision isn’t up to them. They are staying in Florida for the time being in the environment that they can control.

Cody then said that they will hopefully reveal new dates for live events in a couple of weeks. It will happen sooner or later, but he guaranteed that Rochester, New York will happen.

Rhodes stated that he is tested for coronavirus on a regular basis. The AEW roster was all tested along with the crew and they have found no positive tests so far for COVID-19. The company doesn’t seem to be in any rush to up the risk.
