The novel coronavirus pandemic changed a lot of plans, but AEW was able to keep going. Tony Khan wrote 4 weeks’ worth of television in about 15 minutes and Double Or Nothing is still taking place on Saturday.

During a recent media call about Double Or Nothing, Cody Rhodes was asked about the COVID-19 pandemic changing AEW’s plans. He stated that what fans will see on Saturday is 90% of what they planned before COVID-19 hit.

Some stars can’t make it to the tapings. Anyone outside of the United States is unable to enter the country. It is unclear what plans were changed, but AEW is carrying on through this trying time in world history.
