Music icon and pioneer Little Richard passed away today at the age of 87-years-old. He will be remembered forever for his amazing career and enthusiasm. Is cause of death has not been disclosed as of this writing.

Little Richard sang America The Beautiful at WrestleMania X, and the company remembered him today with an official response.

WWE is saddened to learn that Little Richard, The Founding Father of Rock and Roll who performed a moving rendition of “America the Beautiful” at WrestleMania X, passed away today at age 87.

Many more are saddened to hear about the passing of a rock n roll legend. The world would be a much different place if Little Richard and others didn’t help lead the charge to break new boundaries through their lives.
