BIG Return During WWE NXT This Week

WWE NXT saw a big return this week as a former champion came back after a hiatus. Rhea Ripley lost the NXT Women’s Title to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. She’s taken quite a break from the ring, but that ended tonight.

Charlotte Flair defended the NXT Women’s Title against Io Shirai this week on WWE NXT. The match was getting a bit difficult for Flair, so she pulled out a kendo stick and caused a DQ.

The post-match attack for Flair didn’t go as planned. Rhea Ripley made her return to WWE NXT as she rushed the ring to run off Charlotte Flair.

Io Shirai was still a bit upset at Rhea Ripley over some unfinished business. Ripley just kept telling Io to “shut up.” Then Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai had a brawl backstage.

Now Rhea Ripley is back in the WWE NXT Women’s Title match picture.
