WWE made some interesting decisions after WrestleMania. They called up the Forgotten Sons from NXT and now they are receiving an opportunity that they probably didn’t expect.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Jimmy Uso is out of action with a knee injury. Following surgery, he will be out of action six to nine months. This caused a big change in the blue brand’s tag team division.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that if it weren’t for Jimmy Uso’s injury WWE wouldn’t have called up Wesley Blake, Steve Cutler, and Jaxson Ryker.

“The Jimmy Uso one is why the tag team program was changed a little bit and the Forgotten Sons were brought up.”

The Forgotten Sons appeared out of nowhere to become challengers for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. After defeating the New Day last week on the blue brand they are now legitimate contenders.

If it weren’t for Jimmy Uso suffering an injury, then the Forgotten Sons would probably still be waiting for their big opportunity. It just goes to show that you always needs to be ready.
