AEW was able to make things work without Jim Ross. Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho manned the commentary booth for the company’s tapings in Norcross, Georgia. Jim Ross will be back very soon.

Ross commentated the Jon Moxley vs Jake Hager match at Daily’s Place. He did that voice work from home in Oklahoma. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Jim Ross will be returning live on May 6th on AEW Dynamite. This is risky, but it’s going to happen.

In order to make these tapings work, Jim Ross is going to relocate himself for the time being as well.

I think it’s early for this but Ross is essentially going to relocate to Jacksonville at least through 5/27 rather than travel back-and-forth.

AEW will have Jim Ross on commentary, but it will take an awful lot of work to pull it off. Now Jim Ross will get a change of location for a while after spending so much time locked down in Oklahoma.
