WWE Superstars Drop Big Summerslam Teases

Sasha Banks has a lot of history with WWE and last night during SmackDown she played up one of her previous angles without a lot of fans probably noticing.

Sasha Banks sent out an Instagram post with a picture of herself from last night’s show. Her caption could be read a number of ways.

“I can’t wait for the summer 🤡 #Summerslam,” Sasha Banks captioned the photo. This was a play on words because Summer is the name of Lacey Evans’ daughter as well. Banks had a fan shaped like Summer last night on the show.

“Me neither, let’s go to the beach!!!” Bayley responded in a comment on Instagram. This was likely a reference to the fact that SummerSlam is probably taking place in Orlando, and not Boston.

Former WWE Superstar Summer Rae saw this post from Banks and commented saying: “FINALLY….this see’s the light of day on the main roster! Genius 🤣🤣 I miss us.” Summer Rae remembered one of the slides that Banks posted on her Instagram from their NXT days.

Some fans are expecting Bayley vs Sasha Banks eventually. It looked like they were headed that direction last night as Lacey Evans was able to defeat Sasha Banks when Bayley “accidentally” distracted the referee so The Boss couldn’t make the pinfall.

We will have to see where this situation leads, but SummerSlam seems to be a primary destination for a lot of people.
