Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) Shows Off Post WWE Ring Gear

Zack Ryder was released from WWE on April 15th. He had a pair of tights that he really wanted to wear, but he never got the chance. He will soon get that opportunity.

Matt Cardona tweeted out that he found an old pair of trunks that he had made in 2016. They were inspired by his trainer Mikey Whipwreck. He never got a chance to wear them before, but that day is soon coming.

I originally planned to wear this gear in 2016, but didn’t. It is inspired by my wrestling trainer, @mikeywhipwreck_. I had planned to wear it a few more times, but for one reason or another, I didn’t get to wear it. I can’t wait to wrestle again and finally wear this.

Matt Cardona does need new ring gear. He can’t really wrestle with the Zack Ryder logo on his attire anymore.

Cardona also stated that he’s not taking any indie bookings until the COVID-19 threat has leveled out. Hopefully, he’ll be on the indies very soon as the novel coronavirus pandemic subsides.
