WWE is holding a very unique version of Money In The Bank on May 10th. They are “climbing the corporate ladder” weeks after a very interesting 1st quarter 2020 financial report. The company isn’t including every big match they can.

Charlotte Flair is currently the NXT Women’s Champion. Her #1 contender was decided when Io Shirai won brutal ladder match on NXT that should have taken place at TakeOver: Tampa. The two are set to battle, but it won’t happen at Money In The Bank.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that as of “right now the Charlotte Flair vs. Io Shirai NXT Women’s Title match is not scheduled for Money in the Bank.” It’s unclear when that match will go down, but it’s still on the way.

WWE might save Flair vs Shirai for an episode of WWE NXT. They have a few options.
