WWE celebrated 25 years of Triple H’s career this week on Friday Night SmackDown. They had a very interesting way of thanking Triple H for his career, especially when Vince McMahon came out and told him he was terrible.
Chris Jericho sent out a heartfelt message to The Game. The two battled around the world and Y2J spoke highly about the chemistry they shared together. He also remarked that Lemmy would be proud.
“Times and circumstances might change, but one thing that doesn’t change is the amazing chemistry I had with Triple H. I just wanted to wish him a happy 25th anniversary to one of the greatest to ever step inside a wrestling ring. A guy I had killer chemistry with. Every match we had was great, so happy 25th anniversary.”
“Lemmy would be very proud of you. Here’s to another 25 years dominating the wrestling world as only The Game can do — if I had water I would spit it right now then it would get on my phone and I’d have to buy a new phone so just pretend that I spit water.”
Triple H had a lot of great matches with Chris Jericho over the years. His Walls Of Jericho laid claim to a famous quad injury Triple H suffered.
This might not have been the way Triple H imagined celebrating his 25th year in WWE, but they certainly made the best out of it.
