2k Makes Announcement Following Confirmation Of No WWE Video Game This Year

WWE confirmed today during the 1st quarter 2020 conference call that WWE 2k21 is not happening this year. Now 2k has an announcement to make.

2k Games announced on social media that the have some important news coming up on Monday. This also deals with the future of the company so we’ll just have to see what they say.

We will be sharing details on the future of the WWE 2K franchise as well as some exciting news on Monday at 7:00 a.m. PT.

Losing WWE 2k21 was blow for 2k, but a year off might benefit them.

They might need more time to develop the game so they can offer something different. Perhaps they will finally adopt the idea that they don’t need a new physical game every year if they can create a good engine and sustain it with updates.
