The Inner Circle remains a focal point during AEW’s weekly television show. Is there room for more members?

Things are a bit different now with Jericho filling in on commentary, but that keeps his narrative going throughout Dynamite. Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, and Proud n Powerful are a formidable faction, but Y2J isn’t opposed to adding more members if it fits with the story.

While speaking with Sportskeeda, Chris Jericho discussed the idea of adding more members to the Inner Circle. They have a good thing going right now, but anything is possible.

“Once again, I don’t know, it depends on what happens in the storylines. To me, everything is based on the story, the story that we’re telling, what fits, what doesn’t fit. I think one of the downfalls of the original nWo was when they started having Virgil and guys like that in there. It kind of takes some of the exclusiveness and cool factor. If someone’s gonna be in The Inner Circle and get asked into The Inner Circle for real, it’s gonna have to be for a very good reason and something I’m going to have to be convinced of. I’m not opposed to it, but I’m not actively searching for new members.”

AEW is just getting started and the Inner Circle has plenty of stories to tell. We’ll have to see how long they go before members switch around, or if they remain a five-piece group for the remainder of their time in the company.
