WWE had their WrestleMania 36 plans in order and then everything needed to be changed after The Miz showed up, and he showed some troubling symptoms. The A-Lister appears to be fine, but they weren’t taking any chances at WrestleMania.

The SmackDown Tag Team Title match needed to be changed for the show of shows. This resulted in a triple threat match taking place this week where Big E won the titles for the New Day.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that WWE’s plan is to keep the SmackDown Tag Team Titles between those three teams.

“The plan at least as of last week is to do a three-team match again which they were supposed to do at WrestleMania which they still haven’t actually done the tag team version. That’s where they’re going. You can switch the titles. It doesn’t matter which of the three teams has the title.”

Money In The Bank will likely include a triple threat tag team encounter. Let’s see if they add any stipulations to the contest. Let’s also keep our hopes up that nobody shows up feeling a bit off so the match needs to be scrapped again.
