Braun Strowman won the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania in a decision that came after Roman Reigns wouldn’t work the event. Now Strowman has Bray Wyatt to face next, but CM Punk thinks it’s too soon.

While discussing the Universal Title program during WWE Backstage, CM Punk said that it’s too soon to have Strowman vs Wyatt. It comes down to not being able to get sympathy for either of them.

“Guys who don’t win the championship say that it’s not about the title. It’s just that. How do you get sympathy like Braun Strowman? How do you get sympathy on the Fiend? It’s a fascinating match-up. I just feel like the timing is off on this one.”

Braun Strowman is the Monster Among Men who is standing up to a challenging Bray Wyatt. The Fiend is coming off of a big WrestleMania win as well. He defeated John Cena in the Firefly Fun House match.

We’ll have to see how this situation turns out. CM Punk doesn’t seem to be a fan of what they’ve done so far.
