Welcome to Ringside News’ live results coverage for WWE RAW, live from the Performance Centre.
This week’s RAW marks the first live show following weeks of taped episodes. WWE has moved to a weekly live schedule, meaning the Superstars must travel to the PC and then stay away from their families to be safe. It all seems a bit insane but we’ll be here to cover it regardless.
Not much is known about tonight’s RAW, except that Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch will be there live. The Money In The Bank PPV is coming up, so we might get some qualifying matches. All I hope, nay pray, for tonight is that we don’t see the Street Profits Vs. Angel Garza and Austin Theory again. That match has been done to death.

WWE RAW

Monday Night RAW opens with a look back at Drew McIntyre winning the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. McIntyre makes his entrance in the empty Performance Centre.

Drew brings the cameraman into the ring and addresses the fans at home. He says thanks to everyone for letting him and all the Superstars into their living rooms. He also thanks the fans and the media for being so positive on his title win. It’s still surreal for him to be standing there as WWE Champion, surreal that it only took five minutes, and surreal that he then had to beat The Big Show.
We see a replay of Drew Vs. The Big Show with McIntyre providing some commentary. McIntyre says those back-to-back matches sets the tone for what kind of Champion he will be. If you deserve a Championship opportunity, you get one.
Andrade and Zelina Vega come out and she introduces them. Drew says he knows who Andrade is and Vega says oh that’s right, Andrade beat him for the NXT Champsionship. Vega says that Andrade missed his WrestleMania moment because of an injury, so if Drew wants to prove himself as a Champion…
McIntyre says he gets it. He says last time they met in a WWE ring Andrade dumped him on his head, and left him lying with his bicep torn off the bone and took his title. He said it cost him six months of his career and he’s happy to run it back. Andrade says that last time he took Drew out and tonight there’s no more senor nice guy. Later tonight it will be Champion Vs. Champion.
Later tonight, Shayna Baszler faces Sarah Logan, Asuka takes on Ruby Riott, and Nia Jax is in action againt Kairi Sane in a series of Money In The Bank qualifying matches.

Money In The Bank Qualifying Match

Asuka Vs. Ruby Riott

The match begins with some taunting from both women and Riott takes a headlock but Asuka breaks free and screams in Japanese. Asuka gets dropped by a shoulder and Ruby shovers her, asking for the “real Asuka”.
Asuka gets fired-up and takes Riott down by the arm, stomping it repeatedly. Asuka cracks Ruby with a knee, then holds her foot on her face in the corner. Asuka knocks Ruby from the ring but Riott sends her over the barricade. Asuka drops Riott with a headkick, then gets on top of the barricade and dances.
*Commercial Break*
We’re back live and Asuka is in control, stomping Riott against the ropes. Asuka looks for a hip attack but nobody’s home. Riott hits a superkick, then boots the Empress out of the ring. Riott brings Asuka back inside for a two-count.
Riott puts Asuka in the corner and hits her a few times but Asuka reverses an Irish whip and clobbers Ruby with a forearm. They go back and forth and Asuka gets Ruby in a triangle. Riott breaks free and attempts the Riott Kick but Asuka catches her in an ankle lock.
Ruby climbs up but Asuka hits a German suplex and a Shining Wizard for a near-fall. Riott comes back with a clothesline to the back of Asuka’s head and stares up at the briefcase hanging above the ring. Riott climbs to the top middle rope and attempts a senton but Asuka catches her in the Asuka Lock.
Ruby rolls back to try and pin Asuka but she releases the Lock. Asuka grabs Riott but gets elbowed, then hit with the Flatliner. Ruby transitions from a pin into a submission but Asuka breaks free and applies the Asuka Lock for the win!

Winner: Asuka

This will be the first time Asuka will ever compete in the Money In The Bank match! Charly Caruso comes into the ring to interview Asuka but she just speaks Japanese.
Aleister Black will be in action after the break.
*Commercial Break*
We see MVP standing in front of a monitor and a bucket of Champagne. He says next week there will be three Money In The Bank qualifying matches; Rey Mysterio Vs. Murphy; Aleister Black Vs. Austin Theory; and Apollo Crews Vs. MVP. He says if you’re willing to place a wager, place it on ya boy.

Aleister Black Vs. Oney Lorcan

The match begins and they lock-up, with Lorcan taking the back but Black taking him down and grabbing a front facelock. Lorcan fights up and takes a headlock of his own. Black tries to shoot him off but Oney holds on, so Black rolls over and hits an arm-drag. Lorcan breaks free but again Black hits an arm-drag.
Lorcan knocks Black frm the ring but Aleister slides back in and ducks a clothesline. Black hits a springboard moonsault, snapmare and a pin for a quick one count. Black kicks Lorcan in the face and he falls from the ring as we head to the break.
*Commercial Break*
Back live and Lorcan is battering Aleister in the corner with uppercuts. Black fires back with some of his own but Lorcan cuts him down with a calf kick. Lorcan applies a single-leg Boston crab but Black fights out and hits a rolling kneebar but Lorcan grabs the ropes.
Black looks for an armbar and again Lorcan gets to the ropes. Lorcan hits a stuff chop to the chest but Black fires back with a flurry of strikes. He looks for the springboard moonsault again but time Lorcan hits a clothesline.
Black rolls-up Lorcan for a two-count, then Oney lands some stiff chops. Black gets mad, hits a leaping knee, then lifts him with his boot and hits Black Mass.

Winner: Aleister Black

Black is interviewed after the match and asked about his game plan for Austin Theory. Black says his game plan is to win.

We see a replay of Becky Lynch Vs. Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania. The RAW Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch, makes her entrance.
Lynch says it’s only been a couple of weeks since she last stood in the ring. WrestleMania, where she beat the human bone breaker, Shayna Baszler. So let her clear up some confusion. She said it would be a battle of heart vs. skill but it was really a battle of minds. A lot has been said about her lately; that she is arrogant but maybe she just wants people to think that.
So why would she put up her defences like that? Because the only person that can destroy the Queen is the joker, and that’s because the joker isn’t a threat. Lynch says that whoever wins the Money In The Bank briefcase, she will have a game plan and she will shock the world once again.

Charly Caruso interviews Zelina Vega and Andrade backstage. Vega says her questions are ridiculous and says Andrade’s run as US Champion is dominant. Drew has had one great night. She says Andrade has been defending his title month after month, against the best WWE has to offer. And the last time Drew was Champion, Andrade beat him.
*Commercial Break*
Backstage, Shayna Baszler is asked about the “derogatory” comments Ronda Rousey has made about WWE lately. Baszler doesn’t say anything.

Money In The Bank Qualifying Match

Shayn Baszler Vs. Sarah Logan

The match gets underway and Logan forearms Baszler in the back. Shayna fires back with a forearm that drops Logan, then takes her down in full mount and punches her with hammerfists. The referee pulls Baszler off. Logan attempts to get up but Baszler stompts her elbow and that’s that.

Winner: Shayna Baszler

Shayna leaves through the PC, throwing a chair in the process.
We see Seth Rollins staring into the distance backstage. He says he lost to Kevin Owens at WrestleMania and once again his career has been crucified.
*Commercial Break*

Akira Tozawa Vs. Austin Theory

The bell rings and Theory kicks Tozawa down, then drills him with a knee. Tozawa counters a back suplex and kicks Theory. Akira connects with a spin kick, then hits punches in the corner until Theory drops him face-first on the buckles.
Theory stomps on Tozawa, then unloads with some ground and pound. Theory takes a rear chinlock and drives his knee into the back. Tozawa gets to the ropes but Austin whips him hard into the corner. Tozawa throws a few punches but Theory drops him and hits a standing moonsault for a near-fall.
Tozawa lands a hard chop and Theory asks for another, then hits back with a snap suplex. Theory goes back to the rear chinlock. Tozawa fights up and hits a hurricanrana that sends Theory from the ring. Tozawa hits the ropes and feigns a dive but Theory moves. Tozawa goes to the apron and hits a running senton to Theory on the floor.
Tozawa gets Austin back in the ring for a missile dropkick and a two-count. Akira applies an octopus stretch but Theory gets out and hits the ATL for the win.

Winner: Austin Theory

After the match, Angel Garza and Andrade come down and attack Tozawa. They put him on the top rope and Andrade hits a draping Hammerlock DDT.

We see a clip from the Drew McIntyre Chronicle on the WWE Network.
Charly Caruso interviews Rey Mysterio backstage and asks him what it would mean to win the Money In The Bank. Rey says that 2010 was the standout year of his career; he won his second WWE Championship but Kane cashed-in his MITB and took his title. The point being, nobody knows as much as him how dangerous that briefcase is. He has a lot of respect for Murphy, who will be a future Champion, but this year is his time. Booyaka.

We’re back with Seth Rollins backstage and he says everyone needs something to have faith in. And he wants us to know he’s still here for us. His messiah, truly risen.

Angel Garza Vs. Tehuti Miles

The bell rings and Garza slaps Miles away. Miles ducks and leaps over Garza but gets caught with a big dropkick in mid-air. Garza chops the chest of Tehuti, then hits a kick to the chest. Garza rips his pants off, then kicks him in the face. Garza talks into the camera in Spanish and blows a kiss. Garza applies a submission.
Garza gets Miles in the tree of woe, then hits a running knee to the gut. Garza talkes some trash, then hits the Wing Clipper for the win.

Winner: Angel Garza

This time it’s Andrade and Austin Theory that come down and attack Miles after the match. Andrade hits the draping Hammerlock DDT again, then they pose over him.
We see Asuka backstage and Zara congratulates her on getting to the Money In The Bank ladder match. She then asks Kairi what her feelings are going into her match and she speaks in Japanese.
*Commercial Break*
Charly Caruso approaches Drew McIntyre backstage and asks for a response to Zelina Vega’s comments. McIntyre points to a scar on his arm and says that was Andrade. He looks at that scar at least once a week and this about Andrade. He almost took everything from him. Well they had some strong words tonight but he promises he’s going to beat Andrade, Claymore Andrade, and if he loses six months because of it, so be it.

Money In The Bank Qualifying Match

Kairi Sane Vs. Nia Jax

The match begins and Sane runs at Jax but gets thrown up in the air. Sane grabs the back of Jax but gets shrugged off. Jax runs at Sane but hits the turnbuckles. Sane goes to the top rope, jumps over Jax, then taunts her. Jax swings for Sane but misses and gets dropkicked.
Sane gets thrown from the ring and we see Asuka watching on a monitor backstage. Sane gets back in the ring and Jax body slams her. Jax slaps Kairi in the face, then lifts her by the hair and hits a few short-arm clotheslines. Jax throws Sane around via the hair. Jax lifs Kairi in a military press, then drops into a Samoan drop, which is her new finisher, the Annhialator.

Winner: Nia Jax

The WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, comes to the ring.
Flair says tonight is a history lesson with the Queen. Back at the 2020 Royal Rumble, the Queen won the Royal Rumble. Well she had two choices; Becky Lynch or Bayley, but she’d been there and done that a bunch of times. But neither of them made any challenges, instead you had the next big thing, Rhea Ripley making a challenge.
And that was ballsy. Yet here she stands as the two-time NXT Women’s Champion. She beat the next big thing, making her the biggest thing. Last year, Vince knew she was the biggest thing, which is why he chose her to save the main event of WrestleMania. And this year Rhea Ripley chose her because she wants to be her. But Rhea Ripley lacks humility and there are levels to this.
There is always going to be someone bigger, better, faster. And she’s going to remind the women of NXT that there are levels. And next up is Io Shirai. She had a really impressive performance to earn her shot, but lesson one is up next: everyone bows to the Queen.
We see a replay of last week when Aleister Black beat Bobby Lashley and they’re implying it was Lana’s fault. Lashley will be live, next.

Bobby Lashley W/Lana Vs. No Way Jose

Lashley gets grabbed but immediately drills Jose with elbows. Lashley slams him into the buckles and punches him over and over. Lana keeps yelling advice, so Lashley goes out and tells her to shut the hell up. Lashley gets back into the ring and runs at Jose but gets punched. Lashley hits an overhead belly-to-belly and again Lana starts talking again. Jose rolls-up Lashley while he’s distracted but he kicks out. Lashley hits a one-handed spinebuster, followed by a Spear for the win.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Lashley and Lana stand on the stage and pose, exchanging some angry glances.
Seth Rollins is backstage, he says he will stamp out all the doubt tonight.

The Viking Raiders Vs. Ricochet & Cedric Alexander

The match begins with Ricochet and Erik, and the former ducks the latter and lands some kicks. Ricochet taunts Erik before dodging him a few times, but Erik clobbers him with a forearm. Erik knocks Alexander from the apron and tags Ivar.
Ricochet counters a poweromb attempt and knocks Erik from the ring, then hits Ivar with a hurricanrana, while Alexander returns and hits a suicide dive on Erik. Ricochet hits a springboard moonsault for a two-count and tags Alexander.
Ricochet and Cedric look to double-team Ivar but he sends Ricochet from the ring. Cedric hits a springboard tornado DDT and takes a front facelock. Erik tags in but Alexander takes him down and tags Ricochet, who hits a falling tope from the top rope for a two-count. Alexander tags in and goes back to the facelock.
Erik fights up but Cedric knocks him back to the corner. Alexander knocks Erik from the ring and looks to dive onto him but Erik slides inside and tags Ivar. They toss Ricochet out and onto Cedric, then Ivar wipes them both out with a suicide dive.
*Commercial Break*
Back live and Erik is in control of Cedric. Alexander fights up but gets forced to the corner and Ivar tags in. Ivar drops Cedric with a knee, then hits a falling fist like Jerry Lawler. Erik tags back in and he drills Cedric with a shoulder in the corner. Ivar back in and he does the same before tagging Erik.
Alexander creates some space with a flatliner, and makes a tag to Ricochet. Erik gets dropped with a springboard crossbody, then Ivar gets a kick to the face. Ricochet flips off Erik and hits an enziguiri. Ricochet hits Ivar with a flipping kick, then hits a springboard to Erik. Ricochet with a standing shooting star press for a near-fall.
Ivar and Alexander get tags and the big man floors Cedric with a splash. Erik tags in and he throws Ivar into Cedric in the corner for a near-fall. Cedric kicks Erik, punches Ivar, then hits a springboard but gets caught by Erik and Ivar hits a springboard lariat/German suplex. Ricochet springboards in but gets dropped. The Viking Raiders screw-up their finish but get the win.

Winners: The Viking Raiders

Charly Caruso interviews the Street Profits and they brought Bianca Belair with them. She congratulates Bianca and asks the guys about The Viking Raiders. Ford says they have a lot of respect for the Raiders, and Dawkins says all vikings. They were crazy navigators, long before compasses, and they had excellent hygiene. Ford yells “and that’s been the more you know!” then both give the thumbs up. Belair is disgusted and says they’ve never even beaten the Raiders. They need to get the smoke if they want to keep the titles.

Drew McIntyre Vs. Andrade W/Zelina Vega, Austin Theory & Angel Garza

The match begins and Andrade runs across the ring and slaps the chest of Drew but he no-sells it and hits a Glasgow Kiss. Drew forces Andrade to the corner and chops him hard. McIntyre beats Andrade into every corner, then whips him to the corner and Andrade tries to flip over but gets booted in the chest.
Andrade rolls to the outside, where Garza and Theory check on him but Drew goes after him and hits a military slam onto the barricade. McIntyre chops the chest of Andrade around ringside. Theory and Garza distract Drew, allowing Andrade to yank his arm through the ropes and into the ring post. Andrade beats Drew down and stomps his arm over and over, then shoves him into the barricade and cracks the Champion’s arm over his shoulder.
Back in the ring, Drew tosses Andrade over the ropes but he lands on the apron and catches McIntyre in a hanging armbar. Andrade gets back inside but Drew drops him, then hits a big boot. McIntyre goes to the top rope and hits a flying clothesline. The Champion kips-up and forearms the back of Andrade, then looks for the Future Shock DDT but Andrade avoids it and hits a back elbow. McIntyre flips Andrade over the ropes onto Theory and Garza.
McIntyre goes out and grabs Theory for a chest chop that literally knocks him off his feet. McIntyre puts Andrade inside and goes up top but Vega distracts him. Andrade attacks and looks to hit the draping Hammerlock DDT from the top rope but Drew jumps off. McIntyre hits an inverted Alabama Slam, followed by the Claymore Kick.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

Seth Rollins’ music hits and Angel Garza hits McIntyre with a chop block. Seth runs down to the ring and superkicks McIntyre. Seth hits McIntyre with The Stomp, then stares at the WWE Championship. Seth hits a second Stomp and stands over McIntyre as the show ends.
