Goldberg worked WrestleMania 36 and he lost the Universal Title. WWE might have changed their plans, but Goldberg was probably excited to get back home. The problem was that he couldn’t go right back.

While speaking to Carcast, Goldberg discussed the ordeal he had to go through each time he traveled away from home. He was required to undergo a two-week isolation after traveling 100 miles outside of his home. That meant he found himself doing nothing but appear for WWE and quarantine himself for a month straight.

“I don’t even know where to begin, like I said. You know, when you leave the city that I’m in right now, if you go outside of 100 mile radius, you have to quarantine for two weeks. So I go to Orlando, I tape, I come back back here and quarantine. I go to Orlando, I tape, I come back here and quarantine. It’s just been like Groundhog Day.”

Goldberg’s quarantine days are hopefully behind him. He dropped the Universal Title to Braun Strowman meaning that it might be a while until he returns to WWE.
