One man who knows when to stick to his character, especially on social media, is none other than Sami Zayn.

Zayn enjoyed arguably the biggest moment of his career so far this weekend when he successfully retained the Intercontinental Championship against Daniel Bryan on Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.

However, it doesn’t appear as if WWE thought the result was quite as memorable.

Love how they left out my career-defining world class Intercontinental Championship defense from the recap of #Wrestlemania Night 1. I will have a word with management. The injustice never ends. -SZ

This fits in with his persona perfectly, but it also wouldn’t be all too surprising to learn that Sami is legitimately frustrated about not being valued quite as highly as he should be in WWE.

One thing that fans are desperate to see is Sami actually start wrestling longer, well-constructed matches again, as the bout with Bryan didn’t really hit the heights it could’ve.

Perhaps the upcoming break will serve as just the anecdote he needs for a refresh.
