AEW has big plans for 2020, but the current situation the world is dealing with certainly threw a monkey wrench in their plans. Now they might not have a next pay-per-view to build toward.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented that AEW’s Double Or Nothing event might be called off due to the COVID-19 situation.

“Now it’s like we don’t know if there’s gonna be a show the week after, we don’t know if there’s gonna be a Vegas show.”

The comment from Dave Meltzer about Double Or Nothing is sad, but true. Double Or Nothing’s MGM Grand Arena is even closed until further notice.

A lot of good things can happen between now and May 23rd’s scheduled Double Or Nothing event. Hopefully everything works out and AEW doesn’t have to cancel.
