Elimination Chamber

Shayna Baszler Vs. Asuka Vs. Natalya Vs. Liv Morgan Vs. Ruby Riott Vs. Sarah Logan

Winner Faces Becky Lynch At WrestleMania

We’re starting this one with Natalya and Ruby Riott. The match gets underway and Ruby kicks Nattie in the gut, then rolls her up for a one-count. Riott connects with an elbow, then drives her with forearms in the corner. Natalya throws Ruby over the ropes, then slams her into the support beam of the chamber. Natties rubs Ruby’s face against the chains, then suplexes her on the hard floor.

Natalya applies the Sharpshooter to Ruby, who is in right by Liv Morgan’s pod and she is smiling at her. Ruby flips over, sending Nattie crashing into the plexi-glass of Liv’s pod. Ruby then stomps Natalya and we see Becky watching on a monitor backstage. Riott scales the chamber halfway and hits jumps off backwards for a Coffin Drop onto Natalya for a two-count. Back on the outside and Ruby slams Natalya down before kicking her in the back and talking trash to Logan. Natalya gets Ruby up in an electric chair but she holds onto the chains, so Nattie drops her against it.

Sarah Logan is the first person out of the pod and she hits Natalya with running knees, slamming her against Liv’s pod! Logan then rams Natalya into it again, before turning her attention to Ruby, who starts climbing the chamber. Riott gets on top of Liv’s pod and Logan joins her for a headbutt. Ruby tries to climb down but Natalya intercepts her and hits a powerbomb on the outside!

Logan dives off the pod onto Ruby and Natalya, and she clocked Natalya in the face with a knee. Logan gets Ruby back in the ring and on the top rope for some punches. She looks for a superplex but Nattie comes back for a Tower of Doom. All three women are down and the next pod opens, letting Shayna into the match. Bazler comes in like a bat out of hell and tosses Nattie into the ring post, then lifts Logan and hits a spin-out dominator, a knee to the face, and into the Kirifuda Clutch for a submission. Sarah Logan Eliminated.

Baszler immediately grabs Ruby and hits her with the dominator, the knee, and wraps in the Kirifuda clutch for the tap. Ruby Riott Eliminated.  Baszler turns her attention to Natalya and throws her into her own empty pod. Shayna stomps Natalya in the pod, then slams the door into her over and over. Kirifuda clutch and Nattie taps. Natalya Eliminated. Baszler has some time to kill, so she goes to Liv and Asuka’s pods and taunts them.

The next person released is Morgan. Baszler meets her there and slams her into the chain wall. Liv kicks Baszler but gets grabbed in a powerbomb position and slammed into the chains. Liv is hanging from Baszler, who then whips her head-first into the plexi-glass! Baszler gets in the ring and trash talks Asuka. Morgan gets in and hit Baszler, who cracks her back. Liv climbs up in the corner but gets dropped with a running knee. Shayna holds Liv’s face up to Asuka, then sits on the top rope and lifts Liv up with a Kirifuda Clutch and chokes her out. Liv Morgan Eliminated.

The referee gets Liv from the ring as Baszler and Asuka talk trash, with Asuka showing zero fear. We see Becky watching on the monitor again and she looks unimpressed. Asuka is released and gets into the ring to stand with Baszler. Asuka swings a kick but Shayna ducks it. Asuka hits her with a hip attack, followed by a series of stiff kicks. She swings another kick but Shayna catches it and delivers repeated knees.

Baszler lifts Asuka but the Empress counters and catches Shayna with a kick to the face. Asuka gets the Asuka Lock in but Baszler rolls under the ropes and Asuka is still holding on, so Baszler backs her into the chains. Baszler slams Asuka into them repeatedly, then wraps her arm around the top rope and twists it. Bazler gets Asuka in the ring and locks-in the Kirifuda Clutch but Asuka leans back to attempt a pin but Shayna kicks her off. Baszler again twists the wrist, then hits her rolling dominator, kick to the face, and the Kirifuda Clutch.

Winner: Shayna Baszler

What a performance. That was a fun Chamber match, despite the crowd being dead, which they were the majority of the night. Worst Philly crowd I’ve ever seen. Baszler celebrates her big win and Becky is shown watching backstage.

And that’s it for Elimination Chamber. Let us know what you thought and I’ll see you here tomorrow night for WWE Raw. Until then, safe travels.
