WWE is always looking for new ways that they can tout how popular the company is. Social media presence is something that they really pride themselves on and now they have another statistic to throw out there.

WWE just surpassed 40 billion views on YouTube. That is a pretty big number to reach no matter who is achieving it. They currently have around 55 million YouTube subscribers as well.

The 40 billion total views are enough for more than five views for every person on Earth!

The WWE channel — YouTube’s top-ranked in Sports ahead of the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, ESPN and NASCAR — also recently surpassed the 55 million subscriber mark.

WWE has a lot of passionate fans and some of them only watch the company’s content online. That might not translate directly into live television viewing numbers, it is still a very good indication of the brand’s overall global popularity.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
