Why Viking Raiders Were Pulled From WWE Events

The Viking Raiders are former RAW Tag Team Champions, but their most devestating run in WWE so far took place in NXT. They’re still finding their footing, but a recent illness got in their way.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Erik of the Viking Raiders is ill. He became sick on the way back from Saudi Arabia. This caused WWE to pull the Viking Raiders from weekend events.

A long flight from the other side of the world is no place to get sick. Hopefully, Erik will be okay. He’s been through lot in his life including a motorcycle crash that nearly killed him.

Erik was able to fight back and return to the ring after that devastating crash. Getting over this sickness is just another bump in the road.
