Goldberg Captures Interesting Record As WWE Universal Champion

Goldberg is the Universal Champion after WWE Super ShowDown. He broke a hard to reach milestone in the process.

After winning the title in Saudi Arabia, Goldberg became the first person to win a major WWE Title after being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Some have wrestled after being inducted, but Goldberg is the first to hold a top singles title in the company.

@Goldberg is the first Superstar to win a WORLD championship after being inducted into the @WWE Hall of Fame.

Overall, he is the 8th person to win any championship in @WWE after entering the HOF. #WWESS

We’ll have to see how the road to WrestleMania turns out for Goldberg. As Brad Shepard reported while ago, he was fully expected to compete at the show of shows. Now he’ll be doing it as a champion while holding an impressive record in the process.
