While the XFL has been considered a success through the first two weeks of action, the fact that it’s attached to WWE is always going to ensure a degree of mockery one way or the other.

The XFL on FOX account on Twitter opened themselves up to that perfectly by asking which city should get an XFL team next – with one of the first replies being someone saying Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

One man who simply couldn’t resist piling on was none other than CM Punk.

The Voice of the Voiceless is obviously mocking WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia, and is likely referencing the disappearance and murder of Jamal Khashoggi back in October 2018.

While some may think that Punk is ‘taking things too far’ by continually poking fun at WWE like this, it doesn’t appear as if fans are all too worried about it.

In fact, some of them are actively encouraging it, which gives you an ideas as to what the general consensus is within the WWE Universe regarding WWE still putting on these events.
