Before there was NXT, there was FCW. Tampa’s pro wrestling experiment for WWE translated into so much more. They eventually moved to Orlando and started NXT, but the main roster is full of former FCW stars.

WWE is going to tell the story of Florida Championship Wrestling. The company revealed that a new documentary is on the way.

For the first time ever, you can learn about the legacy of FCW from those who shaped it when A Future WWE: The FCW Story premieres Sunday, March 8, on the award-winning WWE Network.

WWE has access to some of the biggest names that came out of FCW because they are still with the company. This should be a great documentary that will help fans appreciate the evolution that eventually became NXT.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
