Lana and Bobby Lashley’s wedding wrapped up Raw for 2019. They also went over their allotted time, but that shouldn’t be something fans should continue expecting.

The Lana and Bobby Lashley wedding did cause Raw to run a little late. The show used to receive a weekly overrun. This is not the case anymore as Raw is typically cut off at the 11:00 PM EST mark.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Raw overrun was a special occasion this week. The company won’t start receiving overruns for every episode of Raw. They just gave Lana and Bobby Lashley’s wedding a little special treatment.

Keeping Raw on the air for an additional ten minutes also retained viewership into the 11:00 PM hour for USA Network. Viewership was said to be “way up.” This caused the ratings for that next hour to rise for the USA Network as well.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
