WWE has a lot of options when it comes to picking a host city for WrestleMania. It looks like Los Angeles is a shoo-in to receive a show of shows soon. The big question is whether it will be when WWE wants it.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there is still heavy talk to hold WrestleMania 37 in Los Angeles. We have previously reported that LA was in the running to host WrestleMania in 2021 at the Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park. That venue will hold 70,000 people, but it can be expanded to 100,000.

The thinking at the venue is that they want to hold WrestleMania as a tester before they get the Super Bowl in 2022. On the other hand, WWE might want to hold out on running the LA stadium so they can boost their attendance number and claim a capacity larger than the Super Bowl.

There are still rumblings of Los Angeles for the 2021 Mania. As noted before, the city wants is in 2021 to get ready for the Super Bowl in 2022. WWE wants it in 2022 so they can announce an attendance figure larger than the Super Bowl in the same stadium, whether real or not

WWE generally inflates their WrestleMania attendance numbers. It’s a yearly tradition. It will be interesting to see when WWE holds WrestleMania in LA’s new stadium, but it looks like there is a big possibility of that happening.
