Mauro Ranallo did not appreciate Corey Graves’ comments about his NXT TakeOver: WarGames commentary. This led to Ranallo deactivating his Twitter and he didn’t show up to NXT this week despite Corey Graves’ apology.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was able to provide an update on Mauro Ranallo. He’s doing better and WWE is trying to get him to come back, but nothing is set in stone just yet.

“As far as Mauro Ranallo goes, he is doing better and I don’t know if he’s gonna be there Wednesday or not. I know the company’s been in touch. I have the impression they’re trying for him to be ready by Wednesday so hopefully, they will. So, that’s the story on him.”

Lio Rush tweeted out that he misses Mauro Ranallo. Hopefully, he won’t have to miss him for long.

Ranallo was feeling well enough to work the Showtime Boxing event after he missed NXT. We’ll just have to wait and see if he returns to Full Sail Arena next week.
