WWE Survivor Series is this Sunday and the company has a stacked card to present. Fans wondered why Bray Wyatt, Adam Cole, and Brock Lesnar weren’t in a triple threat match at the show, but there is a very good reason for that.

During a conference call to promote NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Triple H revealed that WWE had considered a match at Survivor Series with all three top champions. This Universal Champion vs WWE Champion vs NXT Champion match would have been epic, but it was eventually nixed.

He explained WWE’s decision by saying that the company couldn’t step away from Brock Lesnar vs Rey Mysterio. This should give us a clue about the importance of their match.

It was also said that it didn’t make sense to get all three champions in a match this time around. Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character also works much better in his own storyline.
