CM Punk’s Status For WWE Backstage On FS1

CM Punk tried out for a role on WWE Backstage, but it looks like they are moving on without the Second City Savior.

PW Insider reports that there is no plan to have CM Punk on WWE Backstage tonight. There were some fans who were holding out hope, but it’s not happening.

Multiple sources say that Punk has no current deal with FOX after being brought in for a tryout several weeks back and is not currently in Los Angeles.

CM Punk did get the rumor mill going when he sent out social media message while holding a FOX Sports microphone.

You can never say never about Punk coming on the show down the line, but it’s not happening for the debut episode.
