WWE needed to figure something out when their Superstars couldn’t make it to Buffalo after the Crown Jewel event. This kind of worked out since NXT is going to be a part of Survivor Series.

Shayna Baszler previously made her SmackDown debut as she took out Bayley. Later on, they showed Bianca Belair laying a beating on both Carmella and Dana Brooke backstage. She caused both women to miss their tag match, but NXT had replacements for them.

Tegan Nox and Rhea Ripley came out and faced Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. This was a very short match before the NXT Superstars got the win. It looks like WWE is really giving NXT a head start on the road to Survivor Series.
