WWE seems to be re-stacking the deck following the 2019 WWE Draft. There weren’t a lot of people who got switched around, but Charlotte Flair is now on RAW.
It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s plan for Flair is to be a babyface on RAW. This is a very interesting idea considering how she is joining a brand where Becky Lynch is already the top babyface in the Women’s Division.
Even though Flair worked as a heel against Lynch, the plan is for her to be a babyface. There is a clear imbalance and heel weakness, although won’t be if Asuka and Sane work singles, and there has been a clear set up for both to work with Lynch.
Flair’s babyface turn is reportedly happening in spite of them not having a lot of heels on the RAW roster. Charlotte Flair can obviously play the part of a heel as she’s done it many times before.
It was reported that the reason why Flair worked as a heel during RAW this week simply had to do with the fact that Sasha Banks was out of action and they needed someone to fill her spot.
