AEW: Dynamite experienced big drop in the ratings this week, but it might not be as bad as it seems upon first look.

Turner Sports aired AEW: Dynamite on TNT and truTV at the same time this week. This was due to a threat that Major League Baseball’s playoffs might preempt them. They were on truTV just in case the game went past 8:30 PM and at that time AEW would have been fully moved over.

Obviously, that didn’t happen, but there were still 122,000 viewers who didn’t want to take a chance and watched the entire Dynamite show on truTV. Those viewers were not considered in AEW’s rating this week.

While taking the new information into consideration, AEW: Dynamite pulled around 1,140,000 viewers. That is still big drop from last week, but they had a lot of competition on other channels from South Park to baseball.
