Last night’s Hell in a Cell main event seemed to be ticking along pretty nicely right up until the ending, in which Seth Rollins was disqualified for trying to pretty much murder ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.

The fact that a DQ occurred inside of the Cell was bad enough, but after that, the fans inside the arena made their feelings pretty clear as WWE seemingly dropped the ball after booking themselves into a bit of a corner.

One man who has been very vocal in the early stages of the WWE vs AEW war is AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, who gave a short and sweet reply when asked what he thought about the ending of the match.

When you combine that with The Young Bucks’ reaction, which saw them promote All Elite Wrestling’s Wednesday Night Dynamite show, it’s obvious to see that they’re looking to benefit from what many consider to be a missed opportunity from WWE.

Whether they’re delaying The Fiend’s rise to the top of the company until after the Draft isn’t quite clear, but one thing that we know to be true is that the fans aren’t going to take much more of this kind of booking – especially after four matches were thrown onto the card last night without much of a warning.

Jericho isn’t going to stop poking the bear, though, because why would he? At this stage, the momentum seems to be going in one direction and one direction only: to All Elite Wrestling.
